Fire and Ash Studio

Turning clay into pottery and sculpture has been a passion of mine since High School. I work in high temperature and all the work is gas fired. This enables me to use scarlet Copper Reds and pale blue Celadons, but mostly I like to layer the glazes, thereby creating unlimited colours and deep surfaces. I work with stoneware and porcelain and much of the work is altered to create unique pieces. In the gallery you can find a selection of platters and teapots, bowls and mugs, vases and some more unusual pieces.
