The Educational Outreach Program provided by Gibsons Recycling Depot aims to promote effective recycling on the Sunshine Coast and beyond. Gibsons Recycling Depot is a sanctioned "Bottle Me" site and offers employment opportunities through community living and the Aspire program. Gibsons Recycling Depot
Glass will be accepted at the Sechelt Landfill free of charge (not being landfilled)
Empty wine bottles (with or without labels) can be donated to the sunshine coast Association for the Community Living's "Bottle Me Project" at 5588 Inlet Avenue (604) 885-7483, where they will be washed and sold for reuse. The Bottle Me Project is an employmnet and pre-employment training plateform for adults with developmental disabilities and currently employs 6 people.
