Gibsons' Music in the Landing is back this weekend on Friday from 7:00 - 8:00pm in the Gazebo at the end of the Gov't wharf with the final appearance of the jazz duo Anagram before Anna Lumiere, piano, and Graham Ord, sax/flute leave with their family for their extended stay in Europe, don't worry they are returning next year. Saturday from 11:00-1:00pm the Coast String Fiddlers, fresh from Fiddle camp will entertain in Pioneer Square by the info centre followed by the Driftwood Players 'Story Theatre' group performing 2 sets of street theatre, one at 1:30 and one at 2:45 at the Bus Shelter above Winegarden Park. Saturday evening from 7:00 - 8:45 in Winegarden Waterfront Park, bring your blankets and lawn chairs, sit back, enjoy the view and the very family fun evening of music from Reg and Lynn Dickson and the other Guys, Warren Allen and Patrice Pollack. Sunday at noon, come down the the Sun Dial Stage beside the Gibsons Sunday Market to hear the daughter, fathers duo of Rosalee, on fiddle and Dale Stavroff, vocals/guitar with their style of Back Porch Blues. The next Music in the Landing will return again the weekend of July 30th to Aug 2nd for BC Day.
