Rock Climbing
Alert / Warning Friday, July 09, 2010 from 75.157.140.181

Anyone who climbs or wants to learn to climb can come out every thursday evening this summer. We will be climbing at various spots on the coast. We plan on hopefully meeting up around 5 or 6 and finishing around 8ish. Next week we'll be meeting at Desoto Rock in Halfmoon Bay/West Sechelt. We have extra gear so if you don't have any you can still come. All we ask is for maybe a couple bucks to pay for wear on our expensive ropes.

See you out there!

snow in the Tet
Current Conditions Thursday, July 08, 2010 from 75.157.171.124

The Tet park is absolutely beautiful, moist, and coolish right now. Snow starts at around 1200m (15mins above Edwards cabin) and is probably unbroken through the trees and meadow and right up to Steele Peak, as you can see from the photo. The bugs are out but not so much in the cool, snow-covered areas.

The signage is getting quite cryptic. Some of you will know where the 2nd photo was taken.
