road and ditches and gate Current Conditions Saturday, November 05, 2011
The Dakota Ridge work party on November 5th completed ditching and palleting of western trails, and fixed the soft spot in the road. the gate has been vandalized yet again. the road up from B lot requires chains. about 5 inches snow at the top. PLEASE DON'T DRIVE AROUND THE TRAILS IN YOUR TRUCK OR ATV. The surface is way too soft.

Tet Road Current Conditions Wednesday, November 09, 2011
Just drove up to check road to Tet out. It has not changed much from last year except some loose sharp rock on road just before the rock quary on the hill. Will be hard on tires, also 2 new water in the road at the Winter lot. Same old potholes I could see tires tracks from a grader but there is nothing left to grade. Was 2 inches wet snow at lot and raining +4c. Some idiots have ripped the out house door off. Please drive slow and use headlights as road is narrow and oncoming traffic is frequently there when you least expect it.

Skiing in the sun Current Conditions Friday, November 18, 2011
Around noon Friday there was about 6 inches of new snow at the quanset hut and the sun came out. Good snow for the fat skis and the snowshoes but not for the skinny skis yet. checked out Rodney's little sliding hill on the fat skis - fun! the outhouse and quanset hut are still locked although there's evidence of quite a few people up there. the gate is broken again and left open. please park at the parking lot and don't drive around the ski trails! chains needed at A lot.

Tet and Dakota Roads Current Conditions Saturday, November 19, 2011
With first snows on Roads to Dakota and Tet it is important to CHAIN UP and spread your tracks out. If not the road gets so rutted up no one will be able to safely drive on it. If everyone spreads there tracks out the road gets packed down evenly and will not need to be plowed as much. Use Diamond Back or Alpine chains they only take minutes to put on and give lots of traction. If only 1 set of chains chain up front axle as that is where all steering and most braking is. Check the Face book pages for Dakot and Tetrahedron for a link to Video on how easy it is to chain up. Less then 5 minutes. Tow trucks might not come and get you and BCAA will not pay for off road travel on Gravel roads. Stay safe chain up carry shovels and emergency supplies Cell phones do not work in most spots back road.
Have fun and enjoy packed roads.
