Any info from Tet from Sat work party Sunday, June 03, 2012
I had info there was a work party of Tet club going in to move some firewood from old bridge site. Maybe someone can post road and snow info so others know how much snow is up there and how trails are etc.

Still snow at the Tet Current Conditions Monday, June 18, 2012
Hiked into Bachelor cabin Friday. Plenty of snow left on north facing slopes. Tannis Lake is nice and clear, however Bachelor Lake is still partly covered with the white stuff. Very boggy and wet walking around Tannis Lake with patchy snow drifts. Needed snow shoes up on higher ground towards the cabin. Walked out via the ridge above Tannis lake. No snow on that trail and all the way back to the parking lot is clear. No bugs yet.

Bachelor June 19 Current Conditions Wednesday, June 20, 2012
Hiked up to Bachelor cabin and back via the same trail. The last km to the cabin was covered with snow but well packed. We made it to the cabin and out without snowshoes. The road is also in fabulous condition, I didn't even need 4wd.

Steel Cabin Current Conditions Monday, June 25, 2012
Hello,
Looking at the postings it looks like no snow shoes needed to Edwards cabin but there would be snow up to Mt Steel?
Any info? Or anyone know if any groups are heading up that way in the next week?
Thanks
Mary

@ Mary RE: Steele Cabin Current Conditions Tuesday, June 26, 2012
Mary,
There is definitely snow to Mt. Steele. You won't need snowshoes, but waterproof boots and gaiters are always nice.
By all accounts the cabins at Batchelor, Edwards and Steele are 'spic and span'.
You may notice that the summer route trail marker is a bit unclear when you get to the northeast tip of Edwards (right where the winter route from Gilbert comes in from the northeast. If you think of it, please bring some trail markers and indicate a right turn (and not a left) as this could be confusing to folks new to the trail.
Enjoy your trip!
Howard

Everyone be warned. In the last week a hole has opened up in the bridge over the creek from Tannis lake down to Grey creek. It will be very dangerous for the first snow crowd this upcoming winter.

Safety issues Alert / Warning Friday, June 29, 2012
Thanks for the advice. I had already advised the TOC regarding this safety hazard on the bridge. Thought uses of this report and the trails may need to know of hazards out there as well.
