Lots of new snow at the Tet Monday, March 31, 2014
Just got back from snowshoeing into Bachelor . Road up was bare until last 2 km, where it got quite rutted and super slushy. Last 500 metres or so was only passable with high clearance vehicle/truck and excellent winter tires or chains. We were okay in a 4x4 pick up with winter treads, but cars probably won't make it all the way to winter lot. Snowed almost a foot Saturday/Sunday, beautiful conditions!

Found black MEC x-Small backpack cover near Victor's landing. Probably lost March 30th or later, as was more or less on top of the snow. Left hanging at signboard at (winter) parking lot.

Rain at parking lot, changing to snow before trail branching to Batchelor Lake cabin. Still rutted snow on road for last km before parking lot.
