Hiked to Steele Tuesday Aug. 4. Trail in good shape but very dry. I'd gone up 10 days before and the little creeks that were running then are pretty much dried up. Wild flowers all blooming, absolutely beautiful and lots of blueberries by Edwards Lake. I left a blue 'Athletes in Action' t-shirt hanging in the Steele cabin. If anyone is up there I'd appreciate it if you could bring it down and drop it off at Claytons in Sechelt for me. Niels

Tetrahedron Park via Grey Creek FS Road Current Conditions Saturday, August 23, 2014
I was up there two weeks ago and the road is in pretty good shape , there are loose-ish surface areas on some of the hills , the first long hill up in particular , your truck shouldn't have ground clearance problems . 4x4 is a nice option as in that mode the vehicle will not chew up the road on the hill climbs . Hope this helps

Road Brushing Above Summer Lot Current Conditions Friday, August 29, 2014
The alder got beyond what could be done with hand tools and volunteer labour, but thankfully there is machinery and $$ to pay for it. Thanks to all who help raise the funds needed for these projects!
