Tet park info please post some info after tripsTet park info please post some info after trips
Alert / Warning Friday, October 28, 2016

Many people post plans to go up to certain cabins. But never report how the trails and weather etc were. Please post info after your trip maybe some pics how if any snow temps. Helps others plan trips. If no one posts it info then not much point in plowing the road. I check for reports to
Help plan when to plow the road etc. Please spread out your tire tracks to
Pack down the whole road. This can help prevent wash outs.

Post trip betaPost trip beta
Alert / Warning Saturday, October 29, 2016

Post trip report from Oct 24-26.
Our youth group Take A Hike went up and stayed at Edwards Cabin. We managed to move all the wood from outside to underneath the cabin, and the inside bin is stocked with chopped wood. There are 2 boards on the front steps that are wet and weakened: about 3 inches broke off of the top step making the porch a little dangerous.
On the 25th we hiked up Mt Steel to the hut and stayed for lunch. The rain turned to sleet then snow about halfway up making the route quite slippery but still very doable. There was at least 4 inches of snow at times by the hut.
We hiked out on the 26th, in rain again, and the trail was in great condition.

On a personal note I left my red down artreyx jacket at Edwards Cabin. If someone comes across it I'd very much appreciate it back! I'd pay for shipping of course! I can be reached through the Take A Hike Foundation.
Cheers and happy trails. Adam.
