The Sechelt Airport weather station was only set up tempory basis for Olympics. If we want accurate weather for our area we need to make sure some plan gets made to keep it after end of this year. In years past Sechelt weather has been taken from Pt Atkinson which is often 8-10'c different. Here is info from poison control center. DO NOT PEE ON IT OR USE VINEGAR AND FRESH WATER. The treatment for BC Coastal Red Jelly Fish is totaly different then Tropics. We called Nurses hotline and they do not have the current info. Hope no one needs this info but here if you need it. <br/> <br/> FLUSH AREA WITH SEA WATER!! <br/> <br/> Skin: <br/>Flush area with a gentle stream of seawater. <br/>Do not use vinegar for stings from jellyfish in Canadian coastal waters.
