Best Skookumchuck Viewing Times September 2010
During high flood or ebb tides the water being forced through the Skookumchuck Narrows creates some large waves and exciting whirlpools and eddies. High waves can be seen during large flood tides and dynamic eddies and whirlpools can be seen during large ebb tides. The table below displays tides with current speeds over 2 knots during daylight hours (5am-9pm). Best viewing is within an hour before or after the times listed.
